The NPCC Ladies finished 4th out of 15 schools this morning at Prairie Heights’ Panther Run Invitational. The team was led by a strong front pack of Janice Felker, Mikaela Wilson, and Jill Firanek, all finishing within 10 seconds of each other and earning 14th, 16th, and 18th places, respectively, and Elise Zelasko trailing about a minute behind in 34th place. In the next pack, finishing within a minute of each other, was Ava Schelstraete, Madelyn Lower, Ella Sanford, Megan Lanchsweerdt, Kinsley Aurenz, Cora Buss, and Natalie Klemczak. Also completing strong races for the Lady Cougars were Callie Miller, Madison Mitchell, Chloe Woodrick, Maci Allen, Olivia Hardy, and Sophie Hackett. Nine girls ran PRs on a course with lots of hills and turns, showcasing their strength early in the season. Those girls earning PRs today were Elise Zelasko, Mikaela Wilson, Ava Schelstraete, Madelyn Lower, Ella Sanford, Kinsley Aurenz, Cora Buss, Madison Mitchell, and Maci Allen.
