Varsity volleyball beat South Bend Washington 25-11, 25-9, 25-9 to win their home opener. Maggie Duszynski had 15 kills on the night followed by Meghan Carroll with 7 while Makenzie Griffiths, Lyla Mrozinski and Nena Harrison all chipped in 4. Riley Ernsperger and Karigan Mamazza each added 1 kill a piece. Josie Woodham had 4 digs with Faith Robbins, Olivia Rice, and Meghan Carroll each adding 3. Carroll also had 6 aces and Robbins dished out 19 assists with Mamazza adding 9. The Cougars see action this Saturday at the Plymouth Powerball Invite.
