The Lady Cougars started off the new year in a battle for most of the game. An early lead in the first quarter with a few quick buckets by Junior Chloe Deutscher and a 3 by Brooklynne Shepherd paired with a solid defensive effort for the team out front after the 1st quarter. A 2nd quarter run by Plymouth tightened the gap the the team was still ahead going into the half 15-13. The second half started off the same with a back to back game and a buzzer layup by Riley Ernsperger made it all tied up at 21 going into the 4th quarter. Plymouth found a bit of a surge and never looked back but the Lady Cougars never quit and battled until the final whistle. Juniors Chloe & Emma Deutscher led the team in scoring with 6 points. Bailey Futa and Riley Ernsperger tossed in 4 points, Brooklynne Shepherd finished with 3 points, Envy Hesch & Addi Luther each had a basket and Hannah Hawkins-Wiesner had 1 point.
