The Lady Cougars traveled to South Bend St. Joe falling short 37-73. The first quarter was a proven battle but the team found themselves trailing 11-18. A slow 2nd quarter and some early foul trouble put the team down 17-35 at half. Despite coming with fire into the 2nd half, the Lady Cougars couldn’t break into a stride and St. Joe never looked back. Sophomkre Brooklynne Shepherd led the team in scoring with 9 points. Aggressive defensive play from Addi Luther, Riley Ernsperger, and Envy Hesch didn’t go unnoticed. Strong point guard play from senior Hannah Hawkins-Wiesner and sophomore Bailey Futa continues to show promise for the Lady Cougars.
