A balanced offensive effort paired with aggressive defensive put the team on top from start to finish. An entire team effort on both ends of the court made the difference for the afternoon. Leading the team in scoring was post duo Junior Chloe Deutscher and Freshman Makenzie Griffiths both with 12 points. Sophomore Brooklynne Shepherd followed with 8 points while senior Hannah Hawkins-Wiesner, sophomore Bailey Futa, and junior Emma Deutscher all scored 7 points. Rounding out the scoring was junior Riley Ernsperger with 5 and senior Envy Hesch with 3. Junior Addi Luther provided lockdown defense and unmatched energy for the squad. The Cougars are back in action on Thursday at SB St. Joe for a conference matchup. The win puts the record to 2-3.
